LED beacon bars

Are you looking for an LED beacon for your commercial vehicle, truck, tractor or excavator? Then take a look at the beacons from TRALERT®. After 15 years of development, the range of LED beacon bars at TRALERT® has many designs that universally fit your vehicle.

What is an LED beacon beam and why is it essential?

A LED flashing beam also called flashing beam, flashing beam or flashing light bar is a special sign for the roof of a vehicle. On the one hand to alert other road users to a special situation and on the other hand to protect the occupants/bystanders. When raising the alarm, amber-coloured (orange) flashing light bars are used that stand out well. This visibility aspect is essential for TRALERT®. That is why our beacon lights are ECE-r65 certified. So you don't have to worry about the correct certifications when using our beacons. Besides visibility, a flashing beam also helps in the professional appearance of a vehicle.

Certified LED flashing beam, roof set and light bar

A LED flashing beam is an essential part of the total warning set. In combination with beacons, front flashers and grill flashers, amber beacon bars are used on the roof for extra conspicuity. The beacon can be mounted on the back or the front of the roof.  In many cases the TRALERT® beacon bars are adjustable in height and width. This makes flashing light bars suitable for any kind of car, commercial vehicle, truck or other vehicle. For mounting flashing beams to give a quick orange signal, you can also find flashing beams with magnetic base at TRALERT®. This is the ideal solution if you do not want to screw your beacon to the body of your car, commercial vehicle or truck.

Warning with your beacon beam with minimum wind noise

Wind noise is a major problem with mounted beacon bars. Because it is attached to the roof, there is a possibility that wind can get under the LED beacon while driving. Because the wind 'blows' hard in a very small area, large old-fashioned beams can become loud. This is less of an issue with a slimline beacon. This is because this model has a smaller surface area and will therefore cut through the wind sooner. The wind noise is therefore considerably less.

The different patterns of a flashing light bar

The beacon bars that you can find in our assortment are equipped with the ability to show different patterns. This means that you can set the way you want the beacon to flash / warn. Because there are no moving parts in our models, the average number of patterns that the beams support is higher. Having no moving parts has even more advantages. A moving part in LED vehicle lighting that is exposed to a lot of vibration is more likely to break down. Therefore we recommend at all times to take a beacon that consists only of fixed parts.

Electraquip the highly visible LED beacon bar from TRALERT®

The Electraquip LED beacon series consists of perfectly finished slimline beacon bars. The beacon beams are provided with all the necessary approvals such as ECE-R65 and ECE-R10.  We distinguish in our range of slimline beacon bars, traditional looking beacon bars and mini beacon bars. These are all supplied with orange (amber) LEDs. Should it be that you want to add special lights to your beacon. Then you can look at the eqlb series. This has compartments for you to add lights such as marker lights or torches.

A full flashing LED beacon or just the tips flashing?

You are looking for a LED flash bar, preferably with small surface area but only want the ends of the bar flashing. It may be something of a style, but we understand that many companies choose to equip their commercial vehicles with specifically this kind of LED bar. For this reason, you can also find slimline LED flashing beams with only the LEDs in the tips. Is this not quite what you're looking for, check out our beams equipped with LEDs over the entire beam.

Do you notice having a LED beacon beam while driving?

In most cars or trucks you will not notice anything of having a LED beacon. However, it is a fact that the vehicle has more air resistance. This means that when accelerating a small delay can be expected. Besides a small delay, a vehicle is also higher. Please pay attention when selecting the correct beacon beam. Use the TRALERT® light comparator for a quick overview of beacon bars. Should you not be able to find the new height for your vehicle, please check our corner beacons.
